A computer science student — AI and big data by study, cybersecurity and forensics by training. I build quiet tools, probe things that shouldn't be trusted, and keep a notebook in the margins.
Welcome in. What follows is not a portfolio — it's a small archive of a curious one. Three rooms off the main hall: a resume, a shelf of notes, and a workshop. Wander through. Signal back if anything catches.
This isn't a portfolio. It's a field guide — four rooms kept by one person. The resume is the record of practice; the shelf is the record of reading; the workshop is the record of making. What you're in now is the preface — a short note on how they fit together, so the rest of the guide reads the way it was written.
I work at the seam between security and systems, with the reading pile usually spanning both. Student by title, builder by disposition — the field guide is the notebook that keeps them honest to each other.
If any of that is your weather too, the rooms are through the door — the workshop is always a bit dusty.
Each part of the guide covers a different angle of the work. Pick one and look around — they all return you here when you're done.
Two campuses of study, five domains of craft, four chapters of apprenticeship. The coursework, the toolbelt, and the testimonial that earned its place.
A reading room of book notes kept in the margins. Productivity, entrepreneurship, and the odd field observation from the stack.
Case studies from the bench: security research, web things, mobile experiments — plus whatever is currently on the workbench at GitHub.
Eight disciplines, one person. Connected because they have to be — security needs design, design needs systems, systems need writing.
Five domains of practice, kept sharp by use. Not a checklist — an inventory of things I reach for when the problem demands.
Two campuses, one line of inquiry — how does security meet intelligence, and how do you ship code that works in both worlds?
Four chapters of work. One of them earned a formal testimonial — the rest earned me the skills to write the next.
Leveraged a programming background to automate the routine so the work could scale beyond one person.
